COZ RHP Tom Seaver and NY RHP Dean Chance should get a chance to plow through most of their summer reading list this year, as both pitchers suffered major injuries this week. Seaver comes back “early” (2-3 months), while Chance gets to start thinking about 2028 (4-6 months).

The Amity White Sharks and Edmonton Orcas fought for open-ocean, er… trading, supremacy this week by completing a deal. Edmonton sent LHP Bob Barton and C Morrie Gaston to Amity for 3 prospects: newly acquired SS Fernando Hibbard and LF Bill Utley, as well as RF Irv Aldridge.

The Long Beach Lobsters may have made big changes off the field, but its the surging Vancouver Mounties that have made the biggest move in the Roehm standings. 8-2 in their last 10 games, the Mounties now sit atop the division, tied with Havana.
