I had to run this sim twice because on “virtual Saturday,” the game crashed during the database update process.  Rather than risk running Sunday on a corrupted DB, I restored the previous archive and reran the whole week.

The Bizarro Inferno League may be coming to a close this week as both preseason favorites, Amity and Los Angeles, surged to 1st place in their respective divisions.  Amity went 7-0 to move 3 games ahead of the Honolulu Volcanos, and the Riots are in a deadlock with the London Bulldogs.

The Long Beach Lobsters pitching staff was shelled by injuries this week, with star RHPs Stanley Rico and Dick Wirts *both* hitting the DL for 4-6 months.  Can the Lobsters figure out a way to replace these key guys and stay in the Roehm race?
