Honolulu’s hopes to capture the Polanski Division title were crippled this week as star LF Albert Pujols tore an abdominal muscle while doing pre-game crunches.  Pujols is expected to be OUT over 6 months and will leave a gaping hole at the cleanup spot in the Volcanos’ lineup.

Most preseason magazines pegged Sydney as the likely Polanski Division champs, but the Rebels’ play over the first 3 months of the season has been a huge disappointment.  This week, though, Sydney showed why such high hopes were raised, pummeling Argentina and Chernobyl over 6 games to the tune of 56-15.
