IL Contenders Stock Up For Showdown

Inferno League contenders London and Amity both completed deadline deals in preparation for their probable ILCS matchup.  In the first deal filed, London sent their 2032 R1 and R2 picks to Rio in exchange for RF Chuck Klein.  Klein’s tenure in Rio lasted approximately 2 months and was cut short by the Capys’ quick fade from the [...]

Honolulu’s dreams of starting an epic playoff run got crushed this week thanks to a 10-game losing streak.  CF Al Simmons (.375/3/3) and SS Jethro Mac (.368/2/3) have been the team’s only bright spots, as the offense has stumbled to a .202 team batting average over the last 6 games.

2031: Sim #19

Oh, Canada!  Vancouver split 4 games with Havana, then proceeded to sweep Rio 3 straight, leapfrogging over both teams to 1st place in the Roehm Division.  Mounties hitters are on a tear, hitting .313 the last week with 40 runs scored.

4-Man Rotations OK, Trade Deadline Tue 9/29/09 6pm PST
