All-Timers
You people are making it harder to find guys to pick.

With my own growing older, I thought I should start creating a list of potential All-Timers. Here's who I was hoping to grab:

Ron Guidry - selected by Jamaica in the 2013 season and then traded after one year. That deal, for the nostalgic, was Guidry (118-40 with a 1.83 ERA and 1121 Ks), SS Lep Kauffman (who never played), and 2014 NY Round 3 pick for 1B John Garcia (2 years, garbage numbers), RF Bobby Comellas (never made the big leagues), RF Johnny Flahrety (12 years, .237, 267 HRs, 668 RBIs, nothing exciting), and P Slim Davis (6 years, losing record, 3.57 ERA). Guidry won the Cy Young Award in 2024 for his 6th team, the Capybaras. (How was this guy dealt 5 times?!?!?)

Whitey Ford - played his entire career with Bombay starting in 2014. He finished with a 154-122 record, 3.53 ERA, 1241 Ks in 2380 IP and 433 walks.

Ferguson Jenkins - taking in 2029 by Cozumel and played all but his final season there. Career wise, 213-107 with a 2.03 ERA, 2509 strikeouts in 2981 innings and only 117 walks. Amazingly, 316 of his 387 games started were quality efforts. 2x Cy Young Award. His last season was in Bora Bora after the Surfriders coughed up 1B Henry Pipgras (6 years, no measurable stats), 3B Elliot Rennie (2 yeras, less than significant), and P Joe Eichhorn (3 years, 9-22 with a 3.71 ERA).

Which now leaves me with 2 pitchers...

RE: All-Timers
You mention a list of potential Alltimers. Is there a list somewhere of all the taken Alltimers?

There’s a list in the register, I think. Best to just search the register for the player you have in mind though. Players that were part of our initial draft pool (MLB 97 season I think) are not eligible to be taken as All-Timers, so there are a lot of guys from the 80’s/90’s/00’s that are off limits even though they weren’t All-Timers.

So no Dwight Gooden 1985.

RE: All-Timers
my JR Richard bobblehead order came in while i was away (shipped to work), so now the all-timer collection is complete:
- Dimaggio (SF Seals uni)
- Blue
- Ichiro
- McCovey
- Carew
- Richard

Technically the first AT is Mantle, but I don't count him as he was traded away in a 1-1 swap for JoeD before I was owner. I think at the time Havana may have been a CPU-owned team, so maybe the new human owner wanted the Mick patrolling CF ("no harm no foul").

I guess this constrains my All-Timer choices going forward to only players that have bobbleheads?

I have a wonderful Sam Horn bobble head for you! He can be your next all timer.
