2018 NFL Season

start of the season totally snuck up on me, guess i'm not used to the whole thursday night football thing after all these years. only thing i've been really following is the whole Khalil Mack saga, and hoping that the Raiders get the boot from Oakland this year. want to go to Vegas so bad, go play in Sam Boyd for a year...

Yeah, I hope they go after this season too. I like that the A’s went ahead with converting that section of Mount Davis into The Treehouse, kind of them giving the Raiders the middle finger and branding it all theirs now.

As for the season, I’m not ready. Preseason is stupid and I purposely don’t pay attention, but I knew the season opened tonight. I’ve got free Sunday Ticket and a lot of time on my hands this fall so I’ll enjoy that, but with the A’s actually doing something this year it’ll be hard to get into football for a while still. That and knowing that the Bengals are bound to disappoint me in some unimaginably creative way.

just read that Vinatieri tied the alltime FG record (number made) last week. He's been in the league since 1996!?! also hard to believe that he's now spent more years in Indy than Boston, I think he'll always be thought of as a patriot.

1996, also the year that the current iteration of weaver got its start, if i remember correctly.

As usual, Bitter Jim hopes they both lose... but especially the Patriots.

They did lose last year, you never know (unless you’re the refs).
