Early start? I filed a month ago. That’s one habit I’ve managed to change over the last few year. Early start on my taxes used to be April 14th.

Regarding Captain Marvel, man Disney has done such a good job of building the MCU monster. I never felt compelled to see every MCU movie in the theaters before, and there are still some that I wait until they’re available on home media. But the more movies there are, the more invested in the overall story arc you become, and you throw a 7 year old boy who is wild about a few of these characters and it’s game over. In the case of Captain Marvel, I almost feel like it’s required viewing before Endgame. So that’s two theater visits this year. And then Spidey is back this summer and Colt won’t let us miss that one.

And that’s just the MCU. Star Wars later this year, that’ll be good for at least a couple of theater viewings from me. And of course... Galaxy’s Edge opens at Disneyland May 31st. I can’t imagine getting anywhere near the park for a year or so, but we’ll be there eventually and that’s just gonna suck money straight out of my wallet the whole time we’re in the park. Family of four + lightsaber workshop + droid building workshop + blue fucking milk + overpriced drinks in the cantina = Let me just happily open a second mortgage. Diabolical geniuses.
